The Portal
Unveiled during the 2025 Milan Design Week, Portal is the first official project of the Porta Venezia Design District, born from an innovative collaboration with Givaudan, a global leader in luxury fragrances.
Conceived by master perfumer Yann Vasnier and realized by Furf in partnership with Luca Pinotti Studio, Portal is a reed diffuser that combines scent, design, and storytelling, reinterpreting the iconic neoclassical “caselli” of Porta Venezia through a bold and futuristic lens.
My collaboration
My collaboration included FDM 3D printing production, file refinement and adaptation for printing, and post-processing, including finishing and painting, ensuring that the final result faithfully reflected the designers’ vision.
In addition, I handled the visual aspect of the project, creating product still life photography for communication and portfolio purposes.
Summary
Portal captures the essence of a neighborhood where history and innovation, elegance and diversity coexist in harmony. It is not just a fragrance diffuser, but a true sensory tribute to the spirit of Porta Venezia, a gateway between tradition and transformation.
